THE STORY

Last summer on my vacation in Finland, I was asked by a friend at the KMPG Finland to prepare a one day workshop for expacts that are coming to work in Austria.

As a Toastmaster, I was happy to take on the challenge, and the workshop went very well. And when I came back to Austria, I was thinking, it would be nice to do trainings and speeches more often and also outside our regular Toastmasters Club.

Therefore I was looking for a suitable plattform in Austria, but could not find one. So I decided to create one. This was the birth to a new non-profit organization: The Speaker’s Bureau Austria.

We aim to provide professional quality speakers to service businesses, organizations, community groups, and others.

The minimum requirement for you to qualify as an accredited SBA speaker, is to have a Competent Communicator (CC) Award . All other requirements (as well as more information about SBA as such), can be found on the SBA Website.

The Speaker’s Bureau Austria will function under the leadership of the Vienna Toastmasters Executive Committee.

Speakers that qualify and are interested in to join SBA are kindly asked to contact me per e-mail for further information.
